Thermal Cameras

Thermal cameras detect infrared radiation (heat) and convert it into images. Warmer objects appear in red or orange, while cooler ones are blue or purple. They're used for building inspections, electrical maintenance, wildlife observation, search and rescue, industrial applications, and medical diagnosis.

Where is it used?

    • Building inspection: Find heat loss in walls, windows, and roofs.
    • Electrical maintenance: Find overheating wires and connections.
    • Mechanical maintenance: Find overheating bearings and motors.
    • Medical applications: Measure body temperature and detect tumors.
    • Security and surveillance: See in the dark and detect intruders.
    • Industrial applications: Monitor processes and detect defects.
    • Wildlife conservation: Study animal behavior and protect endangered species.

Fire Extinguishers

Fireblock specializes in lithium-ion battery extinguishers. These extinguishers are designed to suppress battery fires safely and effectively, using advanced technology and non-toxic agents. They're user-friendly and suitable for various applications.

Types of Fire Extinguishers:

  • FIREBLOCK AVERT: unique firefighting gel and fire retardant that can be used to fight fires directly or be used as a fire retardant by spraying the non-burnt areas (i.e. grass bush ) with a protective layer of gel.
  • FIREBLOCK FFG: FIREBLOCK FFG Fire Extinguishers are extremely effective in the extinguishing of Vehicle fires (and should be kept in every vehicle on the road).
  • FIREBLOCK LITHIUM: FIREBLOCK LITHIUM is a SPECIALISED GEL that has been developed to extinguish LITHIUM ION BATTERY FIRES regardless of cell type or chemical composition.
  • FIREBLOCK COOL COAL: FIREBLOCK COAL COOL is a nontoxic, environmentally friendly product that is used in the prevention of stockpile fires.

ECAM
Vertical Shaft Communication

  • ECAM's all new Digicom system provides mine shafts the ultimate solution for digital data, voice and video communication.
  • Using the latest radio technology ECAM provides a wireless communication link from the driver to the working conveyance in the shaft.
  • Digicom provides safety features such as slack and tight rope protection, door and pole monitoring, emergency stop inputs, and permanent speech between the conveyance and the driver/control room.
  • This system also provides multiple digital and analog inputs and outputs. These inputs and outputs can be linked to a custom safety circuit which can easily be accessed by touch panel user interface.
  • Live video feeds can also be streamed from the conveyance to surface via the Digicom link and provide the driver/control room a visual representation of the conveyance.

Wireless Communication

Wireless communication is the transmission of information without the use of physical wires or cables. It relies on electromagnetic waves to carry signals through the air or space. Common wireless technologies include:

  • Radio frequency (RF): Used in various applications, including cellular networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and radio broadcasting.
  • Microwave: High-frequency radio waves used for long-distance communication, satellite links, and radar systems.
  • Infrared (IR): Short-range communication used in remote controls, sensors, and optical data transmission.
  • Ultrasound: High-frequency sound waves used for underwater communication and medical imaging.
  • Cellular networks: Provide mobile phone connectivity using a network of base stations.
  • Wi-Fi: Enables wireless internet access in homes, offices, and public spaces.
  • Bluetooth: Short-range technology for connecting devices, such as headsets, keyboards, and speakers.

Wireless communication has revolutionized the way we connect, communicate, and access information. It has enabled the development of mobile devices, the internet of things (IoT), and countless other technologies.

Sourcing as a Service

Sourcing as a Service (SaaS) is a strategic procurement model that outsources sourcing functions to specialized service providers. This approach offers several benefits:

  • Cost Reduction: Reduced operational costs and optimized spend.
  • Enhanced Efficiency: Streamlined processes and improved data management.
  • Access to Expertise: Specialized knowledge and best practice adoption.
  • Risk Mitigation: Supplier risk management and compliance adherence.
  • Scalability and Flexibility: Adaptability to change and agile response.

Core Sourcing Functions Outsourced as a Service:

  • Supplier discovery and qualification
  • RFP development and management
  • Supplier negotiation and contract management
  • Supplier performance management
  • Spend analysis and optimization
